Executive Vice President of Finance & Administration
Brett Hunkins is Executive Vice President of Finance and Administration of the Community Foundation of Greater Flint.
Prior to joining CFGF, Brett served in Controllership and CFO roles in the private sector. He also has worked in a non-profit setting as an undergraduate and MBA faculty member at Northwood University in Midland, MI. He also served as Chair of the undergraduate Accounting department for 3 years, and spent 6 as the NCAA Faculty Athletics Representative.
He began his career in public accounting, where he became a CPA. Brett has earned the Certified Fraud Examiner credential and has an MBA from Central Michigan University and a Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University.
Brett’s goal is to create an integrated Finance function that is rooted in effective communication and healthy organizational behavior.
