Here’s how I can help

I advocate for your children and families by engaging in research, leadership, and advocacy initiatives. I am involved in community organizing and partnership building for the Flint Early Childhood Collaborative at Educare Flint. And, I oversee the procurement process with local partners for our school-based markets at Educare Flint and Cummings Great Expectations.

What is the best part of your job?

The staff and families I engage with at Educare Flint and Cummings Great Expectations. I enjoy learning from our families and staff, learning from aggregated data and research to create a holistic environment for their children. I love how everything we do is centered around family and community and I am in a space where there is room for growth.

Favorite book or current read?

I am currently reading The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren and daily reading of Lola at the Library by Anna McQuinn and Hair Like Mine by Latashia M. Perry with my one-year-old.

Hobbies?

Reading, listening to a variety of music genres, scrapbooking, and journaling.
