Here’s how I can help

I advise on programs/ projects and strategies that align with CFGF’s funding priorities. I can provide information on resources, organizations and/or individuals that could help develop strong partnerships. And I facilitate access to racial healing resources and practitioners in the area.

Community leadership roles?

Minister of Music – Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church of Flint – coordinates the music for church worship services, directs choirs and praise team; Board Member – Richard Battle Foundation – serves to educate the community on carbon monoxide poisoning prevention and distribute CO detectors in community; and Advisory Committee Member for Flint LISC – providing advice to LISC staff about community and economic development activities and opportunities in Flint.

The best part of my job?

Connecting people with resources, ideas, and other people to make the Greater Flint community a vibrant community where all people can thrive.

Why do I love where I live?

Because this community has made me who I am in so many ways. I have deep family roots in Flint on both my parents’ sides of my family (here since 1919). I have experienced many positive benefits including a strong education, spiritual and social connectedness with others who share a deep commitment to community and fulfilling career opportunities.
