Lisa Graham, a fundraising professional with more than 15 years of experience, joined the Community Foundation of Greater Flint in late March 2017 as the Director of Gift Planning. Lisa will be working with individuals, corporations and foundations to help them reach their philanthropic goals.
Lisa believes it is her job to listen to what past and potential donors are deeply passionate about and help them identify the changes they hope to make in our community. Once these areas are identified, she will help them decide the way they would like to be of support – whether it is through an outright cash gift, gift of stock, a donor advised fund or a legacy gift.
Before joining the Community Foundation, Lisa had the pleasure of working for Kettering University, the Flint Cultural Center Corporation and most recently Michigan Medicine’s Von Voigtlander Women’s and C.S. Mott Children’s Hospitals. Lisa worked in conjunction with physicians to help secure funding for research in the fields of ovarian cancer, pelvic floor disorder, easing the burden of hospitalization due to high-risk pregnancy, and neonatal sepsis. As her last order of business with Von Voigtlander, she helped garner support for the purchase of much needed equipment for Flint’s Hamilton Health Care.
Lisa has received certificates of completion from the University of Michigan’s major gift officer curriculum and from the Center on Philanthropy and the Grantsmanship Center. She holds a bachelor degree in Marketing from Baker College of Flint.
Lisa, her husband and two young boys recently moved to Fenton and are looking forward to becoming more involved in the community.
