Malaysia Baker is a senior at the University of Michigan-Flint studying Sociology and is set to graduate this December. As the Development Intern, she is working closely with the Development team on community projects that support the Genesee County community. 

Favorite book or current read?

My favorite book is Monday’s Not Coming - it has been the only book I read so far that has gotten me to cry (it discusses the serious issue about missing Black girls and the larger society’s handling of these cases). 

Hobbies?

My hobbies are reading, walking my dog, listening to music, shopping, cooking, and drawing.

Dream vacation?

My dream vacation is the Maldives.

What music are you streaming?

I am currently steaming Michael Jackson a lot. My favorite song of his is Remember the Time.
