Do you admire a woman who is involved in activities that empower and provide a positive role model for women and girls in Genesee County? Has she devoted her time, talent and treasure to area nonprofit organizations that provide programs and services to educate and inspire women of all ages?

Then consider nominating this very special woman for the 2020 Libby Award sponsored by the Flint Women and Girls Fund of the Community Foundation of Greater Flint. The award was created in 2000 to honor the achievements and contributions of Olivia P. “Libby” Maynard, a lifelong philanthropist and advocate for women and girls in Genesee County.

The Libby Award is presented every two years to an outstanding woman who, like Libby Maynard, demonstrates a commitment through action to philanthropic activity on behalf of women and girls; inspirational leadership by influencing and inspiring diverse groups of women or girls; positive role modeling in activities specific to women and girls; and empowerment of women and/or assistance on their behalf.

Deadline for nominations is Friday, May 29, 2020. View the nomination form here.
