Crossover Outreach

Support Crossover Outreach on Giving Tuesday!

The Christ Enrichment Center, Inc. Endowment Fund I supports Crossover Outreach for general operations and to Communities First, Inc. for support of the Community Enrichment Center.

MISSION: Crossover Outreach shows the love of Christ by feeding, clothing, and providing services and programs to those in need, restoring hope and rebuilding lives.

VISION: Crossover Outreach envisions a community where basic needs are met, hope is restored, and lives are rebuilt.

ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND: Crossover Outreach was organized in 1991 by three of Flint’s downtown churches; First Presbyterian, St. Paul’s Episcopal and Court Street United Methodist.  In 2000, Every Nation Church (formerly Riverside Tabernacle) joined the ministry.  Mission minded parishioners were attempting to help the poor and homeless by giving out food, clothing and household furnishings from these churches.  They decided to join forces to achieve their outreach goals more efficiently and effectively by opening one centrally located facility.

The churches pledged volunteers and financial support to make Crossover Outreach a reality. Crossover Outreach continues to receive financial support from our church partners, along with funds obtained through various fundraising efforts, grants and other donations.  Crossover Outreach’s dedicated staff and team of loving volunteers keep this ministry functioning successfully, giving HOPE and showing the love of Christ!
