The Community Foundation of Greater Flint
Take Action

The Flint Women and Girls Fund Advisory Committee encourages you and others to become involved in developing a call to action.

What can you do?

Here are a few ideas to inspire your thinking:
  1. Educate yourself. Read "The Status of Women and Girls in Genesee County" and the "Voices of Women" narratives posted here.
  2. Educate others. Request a presentation be made to your civic or church group by calling Sandra Murphy, Director of Donor Services at the Community Foundation, at 767-8270.
  3. Educate your local, state and federal elected representatives.
  4. Make a monetary gift or volunteer for an organization that serves women and girls.
  5. Attend Flint Women and Girls Day on Tuesday, October 25 at     7:30 a.m. at Sarvis Center.
  6. Make a gift to the Flint Women and Girls Fund. The Fund makes grants to organizations serving women and girls.
