The Community Foundation of Greater Flint
Flint Women and Girls Day 2011

Over 130 people interested in the status of women and girls in Genesee County attended the 6th annual Flint Women and Girls Day hosted by the Flint Women and Girls Fund. The morning session featured a panel of guest speakers who highlighted issues relating to health, education and employment.

Everyone attending gained a new perspective on the realities faced by women and girls in our community. More importantly, participants were asked to make a personal commitment to women and girls. Their ideas were so fantastic we wanted to share a few with you.
